Baby Binc
Baby Binc (Training Company) is celebrating its third year of dazzling performances since its
inception. After the huge success of our dance team, Surge, we thought it might be nice to
have a performance company for our middle school aged dancers.
They have enjoyed entertaining audiences at the halftime show for the Harlem Globetrotters and
76er’s, Autism Speaks Walk at the Philadelphia Zoo, Hershey Park and a number of community events.
While Surge performs mostly in the Jazz Funk and Hip-hop styles, Baby Binc performs
classic Jazz, Jazz Funk and Modern dance pieces. Most recently they have performed a piece on
the effects of global warming and are currently working on a piece that demonstrates resolving
school violence.
There are a lot of opportunities for dancer collaboration and participation in the
choreographic process for this group. The goal when working with Baby Binc is that it be an
opportunity for creativity, leadership, providing experiences that expand on their need for
autonomy and most importantly fun!!
