Registration
Register early because class size is limited to 12. The registration fee ($20 for new students and $15 for returning students) is due with the submission of your registration form and first month’s payment. Click Here for a 2011-2012 Registration Form.
Tuition
First Position Tuition is not based on the number of classes per month, but is a total fee for the classes provided from September through our recitals in June. Tuition payments are broken down into ten monthly payments. These payments are deducted from your DEBIT or CREDIT card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express) on the first day of each month from September 1st through June 1st. Any classes that are missed during the month may NOT be deducted from the next month’s tuition. It is the sole responsibility of the parent/student to make up the missed classes at another time. Use this opportunity to test drive a new dance style!

Discounts
- A 10% discount is offered for three or more classes per week per family.
- A 15% discount if tuition is paid in full by July 25, 2011
- A 10 % discount if tuition is paid in full by August 25, 2011
- A 5 % discount if tuition is paid in full by September 25, 2011
Attendance
Dancers are expected on time (to receive the proper warm-up) and at all scheduled classes!!!! Poor attendance may lead to increased risk of injury, inability to retain movement vocabulary, and difficulty in sustaining the same level as the rest of the class. In addition, it is disrespectful to both fellow classmates and the dance educator to be repeatedly absent.
Dance Attire
Please ensure that your dancer is properly attired for class. He/She will not be permitted to participate in class in the event that they are not wearing the proper attire!!!
- Creative Dance: Whatever makes you feel beautiful and pink ballet slippers
- Ballet: Solid color leotard, tights, pink ballet slippers, and hair in a bun
- Modern/Jazz: Capri’s, shorts, leotards and bare feet or black jazz shoes
- Tap: Loose fitting clothes and tan tap shoes
- Jazz-Funk: Black jazz pants, black fitted top and black dance sneakers
- Hip-hop/Breakin’: Loose fitting clothes and CLEAN dance sneakers
NO STREET SHOES OR SNEAKERS ALLOWED IN STUDIOS!!! NO JEANS!!! HAIR MUST BE SWEPT BACK NEATLY OFF OF FACE.
Recital
All dancers are in the recital unless otherwise noted. Costume payments will be charged in TWO installments: 11/1 and in full by 12/1. The costume fee will range in price between $55 and $75. If you would like to know your costume fee, contact the office. If you DO NOT want to participate in the recital and DO NOT want us to charge you a costume fee, you must let the office know in writing by 10/25/2011. The recital is tentatively set at Bryn Mawr College for either June 9, 2012 or June 16, 2012.
Important Dates
Classes will begin Saturday, September 17, 2011 and will continue through Friday, June 8, 2012.
Classes will NOT be held on: 11/23-11/27 (resuming 11/28), 12/24 -1/1 (resuming 1/2), 4/1-4/8 (resuming 4/9) and 5/26-5/28 (resuming 5/29)
Inclement weather
Call the studio to inquire if class will be canceled due to bad weather. You will also receive an email and it will be listed on our website. In the event that class is canceled, students are expected to find a time to attend a make-up class scheduled by the teacher or attend another class on the schedule. Once again, use this opportunity to test drive a new dance style!
